Optimizing Root Canal Therapy with Laser-Assisted Endodontic Protocols
8pm to 9:30pm EST
About this event
Unlock the next level of endodontic care with laser-assisted techniques designed to elevate your root canal outcomes.
Details
In this webinar, you’ll explore how the innovative Fotona SWEEPS® (Shock Wave Enhanced Emission Photoacoustic Streaming) Endodontic Treatment transforms root canal therapy by creating powerful photoacoustic shock waves that thoroughly clean even the most complex canal systems. Discover how the Fotona LightWalker® laser assisted irrigation enhances cleaning and decontamination, reaching areas traditional methods can miss—helping you perform safe, efficient, and precise endodontic procedures.
Key Takeaways:
- Understand the principles behind Fotona SWEEPS® technology and how it improves irrigation effectiveness in complex root structures.
- Learn how laser-assisted irrigation with Fotona LightWalker® can enhance canal decontamination for more predictable results.
- Explore the role of photobiomodulation (PBM) in endodontics and how it can be incorporated into laser-assisted protocols.
- See practical applications and protocols you can implement in your practice to optimize root canal therapy.
Elevate your endodontic workflow and experience firsthand how laser-assisted protocols can change the way you approach root canal therapy.
About the Speaker
Dr. Amber Chu immigrated to the United States from Taiwan at the age of 17. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, an elite honors program for gifted students that admits only five undergraduates per year for advanced, graduate-level coursework. During her studies, Dr. Chu received the prestigious Randolph Wolf Research Award for her work in organic chemistry and graduated with Dean’s Honors.
Driven by a passion for science and a desire to work closely with patients, Dr. Chu pursued her dental education at New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in 2002. She opened her first private dental practice in Manhattan shortly thereafter and, over the next six years, expanded to own and manage three group practices.
In 2008, Dr. Chu continued her advanced training by completing an endodontic residency at the University of Southern California. Following residency, she returned to New York before relocating to Houston, Texas, where she established and successfully operated a solo endodontic practice for over 12 years.
In 2026, Dr. Chu moved to the Pacific Northwest to join Puget Sound Endodontic Associates group practice alongside Dr. Arash Niazi, her former USC co-resident and longtime colleague. She brings with her a caring, holistic approach to patient care, along with advanced expertise in laser-assisted and ozone-enhanced endodontic therapy, with a focus on optimizing healing and minimizing post-operative discomfort.
