TRAINING & EDUCATION
Every LightWalker dentist receives comprehensive hands-on education in laser dentistry and LightWalker operation. This starts with ensuring a solid understanding of how dental laser wavelengths interact with various tissues in the oral cavity; providing a foundation for taking full advantage of the unparallelled digital control that LightWalker provides via its icon driven touch-screen control console.
Armed with science and clinical expertise, NDI equips you to start using the LightWalker routinely from the very first day and fosters continuing proficiency for our growing community of like-minded dental professionals striving for excellence in dental care.
Advanced training is offered in cooperation with LAHA, the international Laser and Health Academy delivered through Canadian programs and permanent learning centres in Switzerland, Rome, Slovenia, and Dubai. In 2013, NDI hosted multiple LAHA educational symposiums featuring hands-on workshops and training events with Dr. Scott Benjamin, president of the ALD (American Academy of Laser Dentistry and NDI's own Clinical Director); on a cross Canada tour with Dr. Simunovich from Zurich; and a limited-attendance special PIPS course with the Dr. Enrico DiVito, the inventor of the revolutionary PIPS endo procedure. NDI believes strongly in bringing you the best educational opportunities and will continue to facilitate multiple events each year.
